Value Advice
I do a bit of kit restoration, sort of to make cash but really its for fun without losing money. There is a kit I am looking to buy but i am not 100% on the value of the snare so I can make the guy a reasonable offer.
Its one of the brass lacquer snares in pretty good condition but not pristine. What is the rough value of this? I was guessing its in the £200 range but i know the brass lacquer is rare.
If anyone is interested its an entire black pearl kit bought in 1963 with what appears to be everything it came with as new, stands(rogers rather than ajax), cymbals etc. not awesome condition, but decent, unfortunately the chrome on the stands just isnt as good as the kit chrome.

Re: Value Advice
Probably be lucky to get £100 for the snare. Kits usually go for £300 - £500 depending on condition.
