Bo Diddley (network TV screw up)

It turns out that the national TV news network gave out the wrong name on this story.emoticon It was Bo Diddley who had the stroke. He is up and walking around and recovering nicely.emoticon

Bo Diddley, 78 years old, suffered a stroke last night after performing in concert. (This part is still true) He was, arguably, one of the most influential musicians on the British rock music scene and here in the States for that matter.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Re: Muddy Waters

Many of our elder musical statesmen are getting up in age now. Muddy Waters, BB King, Buddy Guy, Johnny Johnson and the list goes on. I wish them all well, as they are my mentors who have inspired generations of musical talent. Best Wishes and a speedy recovery to Muddy Waters.

Muddy Waters died twenty-something years ago.

Glad to hear Bo diddley he is recovering. I saw a recent photo on the news - man, he has aged a lot lately. I'm also glad to hear he was still doing shows.

I love the signature Bo Diddley sound!
