I've used the liquid metal polish. It last a long time and seems to go a long way. I wouldn't buy to much. you can always get more.

I've also used Flitz, but it's abrasive, like simichrome polish. This will eventually rub your chrome off. Happened to me on a very nice fireplace insert some time ago. The fact that it says that it doesn't contain ammonia is a non-factor. Ammonia as a cleaner is good, not bad.

My recommendation is Blue Magic. It is the best non abrasive chrome, brass and aluminum polish I have found.

Try this link. Go for the cream, not the liquid, in my opinion. It cleans and polishes beautifully with no abrasives, which are completely unnecessary for a finish as hard and smooth as chrome.

Some of the dirtiest parts of a car are the chrome silencers underneath. Heat from the exhaust manifolds coupled with road grime form a coating that is much tougher to clean than anything I've found on a drum set. Blue magic works, and it doesn't take the chrome off.

if you have dirty chrome on your drum parts, blue Magic is all you need.

That looks vedy, vedy British with the downdraft carbs...I'd say Jaguar...maybe XKE? Looks like a six cylinder version of my 64 MGB.

Woo Hoo! Nice, Jack. I've always wanted an early MGB, 67 or before, with the good 'ol SUs and proper chrome bumpers. Nice car. Glad you appreciate fine British pieces of automotive art as much as Rogers drums, too! Understated elegance, both. Have you noticed that the MG chrome badge kinda reminds you of the Rogers badge, the way it stands out?

Yes, this is a 67 E-type, bought in '71, third owner, needed work. Like the 68 Headliner drum set, at one time both items were unsellable at their low of lows in the used car/drum market.
