Should be 3/8" (translate to metric). Should be pretty easy to get some that work. Pearl Air Suspension Feet will work and open the tom a bit. The Memriloc spurs mount hole pattern is not the same as Swivomatic mount. No direct changeover. Rogers did make a Memriloc / Swivomatic mount adapter that would let you use the hex legs instead of the tubes. Or have a machine shop make an adapter to fit.nondisclosed_email@example.com (amosguy)Tue, 09 Oct 2018 19:47:40 +0000 Re: Hello! Yes that is pretty interesting that everything was memriloc apart from the floor tom legs. Are there rubber feet to go on the legs, I don’t mind about original parts so I guess my question is are there feet I could buy today that will fit? Yes, going to get the snare to pieces soon and have a good look at what’s causing the problem, may just be some bent rods. I can’t say I’m a fan of the bass drum spurs on this kit. Are there any other spurs that will fit the memriloc? Or is it possible to fit swivomatic spurs on to the current holes? nondisclosed_email@example.com (Thatscottishdrummer)Tue, 09 Oct 2018 12:50:17 +0000 Re: Hello! The hex legs on the floor toms are Swivomatic from late 75-early 76 before they changed over to Memriloc legs on the sets. Compare the snare tension rods you have questions about with the ones on the toms. All the same rods used on Rogers drum in a set, so that will help with determining if they are original. Sometimes different heads can push the rims off center, so make sure the head is centered on the drum before you tighten any of the up.nondisclosed_email@example.com (amosguy)Tue, 09 Oct 2018 12:06:43 +0000 Hello! Picked up a Londoner V in Spanish Gold with Dynasonichttps://brogersownersforum.runboard.com/p46555,from=rss#post46555https://brogersownersforum.runboard.com/p46555,from=rss#post46555Around Christmas ‘15 I saw on gumtree someone local selling a cool looking Rogers kit for £300. I went and picked it up. This was my first vintage purchase and it’s been great fun delving in and finding out the history of Rogers. So I believe what I have is a 5 digit serial number ‘76 big R kit with memriloc (I actually sold the hardware stands and bass drum pedal because I’ll never play with those) 12, 13, 16, 22 in Spanish Gold. The floor tom legs are hex which I believe is swivomatic? The snare is a 14x5 COB Dynasonic but there are no holes for a dampener, which I believe from The Ploughman’s really helpful dating guide ticks the ‘76 box. So as of now I’m going to finally get started restoring this kit! I believe I may need to get new tension rods and the lug inserts for the snare but I’m going to strip it down and have a good look. Some of the tension rods are screwing in so offset that my drum key cannot turn the rod because there’s no space between the hoop. It looks like the Gibraltar rods and inserts will fit fine, can anyone confirm? This forum has been a great resource to help a beginner restorer like me get started, get the kit restored and ultimately get playing it! nondisclosed_email@example.com (Thatscottishdrummer)Tue, 09 Oct 2018 03:29:11 +0000
