Rogers Bass Claw Differences
Confused about bd claws. I thought the longer tang was from early drums. Just see in a Memriloc catalog the longer tang was shown on later Memriloc shells. Also shown in a 69 & 73 parts catalog. Had a set of Memriloc shells with short tang.
Also see someone on Ebay selling bow tie tension rod and claw sets with longer tang.
Who know history of the claws?

The answer could be as simple as.... this piece of stock is 3" instead of 3 and a half inches.... its the end of the sheet........ do we toss it out ? ............ by the way, you have to pay for this remainder we don't use.......... CBS Executives........ Oh Freaking Hell No We Use It!!!!..
And so, these blanks, while short, are inserted into the stamping machine and come out as claws.
