I check in every day as well. It's too valuable a resource to just let it go. I also agree that Facebook is a waste of time. My 2 cents.

I don't check in as often as I should. But this place is a wealth of information! I prefer a good forum over Facebook any day. I agree it seems the FB groups are popular. But I'm really starting to dislike Facebook more and more each day. I just check the groups I'm in there mainly. And see what the family is up too. Most of my FB friends are on the drum forums. VDF has been very slow also. I don't post much but do read a lot. Good to see your not giving up the ship. Many forums are in the same situation far as FB goes. Topics like this are very common on many boards. I know DFO had some sort of FB link. But it seems not to be working. Is it possible to link ROF to FB through a ROF group page? Or does that require a payment upgrade like a business? That might steer a few new faces here. Just thinking out loud here. Anyway thanks for all you do!

The Rogers pages on facebook, representing approx. 8000 people, are the only reason I am still using it. It is the only thing that rises above the sewer of politics and fake news. And the skinny fat chicks with the duck lip selfies.

Jack that is too funny. I am laughing my ass off! I have never been on Facebook. But taking Jack's assessment to heart I do not think I am missing anything. That made my weekend Jack.

Boy, did you hit the nail on the head, Ploughman. The Facebook politics really floor me. People don't have the sense to understand that their posts are like preaching religion. It falls on deaf ears.
I remain on Facebook for both the drum and music connections. I rely on it to communicate to those interested in my two bands' music, stay involved with all things Rogers, and also rekindle acquaintance with old friends.
I am sincerely baffled that these very intelligent people can't see that their beliefs are not shared by everyone, and yet we can still be friends.

Hi guys I dont post on here as much as I used to or should, but i still have a good look when I can, (makes note to self must do better !) im always passing on the word about this great site when i see someone looking for Rogers bits and bobs or information on the UK forums.
