Cleaning/ polishing/ lubing/ a swivomatic bass pedal
I have searched and did not come up with much.
I searched "Dawn" and I see that it is used on the chrome parts, but what is the ratio? a squirt or do you bathe the chrome in solid dawn?
What do you use to clean and polish the pot-metal-type base?
What would you use to clean the steel non-chrome parts such and the spring and screws?
And finally, what is the procedure for cleaning up and lubing the needle bearings?
Thanks so much!

Those parts are not pot-metal, they are cast aluminum. Soap and water or degreaser will do it. The bearings need to be flushed out with a solvent like WD40. They can then be re-oiled with wheel bearing grease or equivalent.
