Need help dating this kit!

So.. I went to a view a Rogers kit last night and wondered if anyone could help me date it or confirm the model. To the best of my knowledge I believe it to be a Holiday kit dated around mid to late 60s - it's a champagne sparkle finish and has the 10 lug bass drum. The only thing that's throwing me off a bit is the tags. I was expecting to see Dayton or Cleveland tags but instead it had a tag displaying 'rogers drums USA' and a serial number. The interior is also a speckled grey rather than solid grey aswell. If anyone can help me on this it would be much appreciated. Cheers!

Was this a "9-72" Fullerton tag on the inside? Likely. If it was a Big R tag on the outside, something would be amiss.

These sound like Fullerton era Swivomatics.

Pics would help.

I've got a few more pics if that would help? It's just a mix of what the seller sent me and the ones that I took myself whilst viewing. The sellers asking price is £1500 including the super 10 snare aswell as the original swivvel tom holder and cymbal arm. He's also throwing in what appears to be the original hi-hat stand aswell as cases and other bits and bobs. I'm aware this is fairly expensive which is mainly down to it being a UK purchase but I just wanted to know what the model was so I could try and reference the price to see if it's worth the money. The condition of the kit is great aswell. Your time on this is much appreciated.

A bit of a "mix and match" kit. All nice drums. Do any have Cleveland or Dayton tags? The "Wing-R" T-rods on the bass drum are Fullerton
CA era. The Tom swivo arm is actually from a double-tom set-up, judging by the length, unless the vertical hex rod is sunk way down in the bass drum. Let's see what the ROF gurus have to say about dates and value. Good luck.

If all the drums have that little '9/72' tag in them, they are all from the same era. Made from 9/72 thru 1976 when the Memriloc drums came along.

Nice kit champagne kit, worth about $1000 US.... , the snare is there, the cymbal arm is there, the tom arm is there. (Hopefully it's a long arm and not a short arm. The long arm is the correct unit.)

Being a 22" bass, it's a little more desireable as these are more scarce, especially with the single-tom setup.

Thanks for the reply. Yeh, all the drums have the 9/72 tag on them. Does this tag mean that they are dated between 1972 -1976? .The tom arm is longer than it appears in the picture as well, it's just quite far down into the bass drum. In terms of quality then, does this era of the holiday kit match that of the Cleveland/Dayton era kits? Thanks again for your help.

1972 = No Alpha prefix to the serial number.
1973 = Alpha prefix added, 4 digit number follows.
1974 = Alpha prefix and 5 digit number follows.
1975 = Alpha Prefix, no line under the number.

Yours would be '72.
