A steel snare? It has 10 lugs?

That serial is from a Big R badge, meaning the drum is from 1976-83. Someone else here can get it a little closer...

the 9xxxxx ranges of numbers are screwy. Rogers phased through several moves during the Big R period. This is a set of numbers that can be found on 79-84 drums. I will have to dig through my stuff to positively pinpoint a time range for your number.

I am interested to know specifics on your D119 snare drum. Pictures if possible. I would like to see it. Date wise, 1982 at the very earliest. This is a solidly 1983 number.

6.5 Dyna-Sonic 1983 it looks to be in original condition. Black lug felts are present as are the brass lug locks on the upper tension rods. Condition looks good in the picture from what I can see. It is a good one.

If you don't like it, I would trade you straight across for a pristine Ludwig Supraphonic 5x14.
