Re: wine red ripple resto
Damien, looks like you got it down! Do the lug nuts and springs fit loosely with a bit of play in them?

Re: wine red ripple resto
The inserts didn't have any play on the snare lugs so I had to use a die grinder to remove a little epoxy. Just finished up mounting the lugs....pain the in a$$ trying to line them up straight but I got them very close. Now I'm cleaning the tension rods and washers. I will post a pic soon of the snare still waiting on the dyna rail tension screw assembly from al drew.

Re: wine red ripple resto
Beautiful job! I can understand the need to grind out the innards if you get the epoxy too thick. That's the reason for the "embossing" tool.

Re: wine red ripple resto
Thanks guys! The screw assembly came and I got everything set up and it sounds great! The other lugs are coming along and lining them with epoxy is so time consuming. Can't wait for the kit to be done...here are a few more pics

Re: wine red ripple resto
started cleaning the wrap and so far looks pretty good! Most of the cracked lugs have been epoxied and contemplating having some of the mounts and spurs chromed. Hoops look good so I hope to have the kick drum finished soon.

Re: wine red ripple resto
Look for a name on ebay called TheDrumShopns
They have another one like this set they're selling in store. They just sent photos to me. They have alot of Rogers gear they got from another store that went out of business.
