English Rogers for sale
Hi there! Just letting you all know that I found this kit and am selling it for restoration. Can't stand these 'kit strippers' who get rid of perfectly good kits to make a few quid on the parts so I thought I'd join the forum and let you all know! I'd love someone to restore this kit, but if not, there are some good parts to use in your restoration.

I think that one would be difficult to rescue with the added (huge) Premier fittings. It would make a good player for a kid starting off but I would think it will probably go for parts.

Lugs might be worth the price, but they tend to crack easily, and finding replacements for English Rogers could be quite a time consuming plan. At that price, you could sell the lugs and make a great players set out of the shells.

Actually. I very nearly did make a nice gigging kit out of this as I've got sufficient 1970's Pearl bass drum lugs to do the job, but I've already got 4 kits in the house so not enough space for another anyway!
Ironically, I used to have an English Rogers snare in the same finish (and condition!) but gave it away to someone who had a restored ER kit but with no ER snare. I think if I still had it, I probably would've put this kit back together myself. Hey ho...

So you were the kind gent that gave the snare to Jeremy then. I gave him the lever for the throw. He got that looking very nice.
I've been looking at your kit trying to come up with a reason to buy it but it hasn't sufficient going for it, which is a shame. Like you I have far too many as it is.
I could do with the 16x16 just for the shell but couldn't justify the trip to pick it up.
