Cymbal mount score
Finally snagged a bass drum cymbal mount at a reasonable price. The chrome is fab; so I'm a happy camper!

The two way knobby is very rare. Nice score!

Sorry to be dumb Jack - but you don't ask, you don't learn. You mean the mount on the bass drum itself - that it can go vertical or horizontal? Why would they want that? I guess any attachment would need a bend in it. I need my Rogers book but it's at home :-(

Correct me if I'm wrong (happens lots!), but were not the double cross holders used on the floor tom and not the bass drum. As pointed out, the angle is not easy to make use of on the bass drum. As a cymbal mount for a floor tom or cocktail ket, you could use differnt arms as necessary for your setup.

Re: Cymbal mount score
I have one of those mounts somewhere though I bought is separately. I think Amos is right that they may have been for floor toms.

Re: Cymbal mount score
They are so rare, I think they could be placed anywhere as a special order. They were not standard on any drums that I know of.
My L arm sits almost vertical in that same spot, so it would work for me with a standard straight arm.
Trout, did you ever find your FT legs? I dropped the ball, but I emailed you about it last month. PayPal's current policy gives me pause. From my investigation, they want to ding me. Sorry!
