Agreed.. but only as a common practis. We've spotted em with all kinds of variations. That PDP snare has an eagle badge w/ lrg ones to confirm what your saying. I think Gary was also correct, as we have seen med on the odd script as well and I think that was 59/60ish. I also have seen lrgs on reg script where you'd think there would be peanut. I think they used what they had when they ran out of certian sizes in some cases.

I have an early 60s or late 50s Spotlight snare with the early script logo and large lugs. SN 8962.
Does this fit into the SN categorization you're talking about?

Late 50's is when I've seen the start and generally large lugs on almost everything. But this has also been seen in years towards the end of the B&B era as well. Prolly when they ran out of peanuts or meds, they just continued to build drums.
