Ya know.. I think you may be right.. Ya think he knows?? Didnt he just buy a tom? I think that drum is signifigant. It has provinonce too. I may bid, I know I would if it was blue. Maybe he selling it to get a blue one? LOL

My B and B Tower 26" BD I just got has the "F" stamp in the front rering...

also has F W written in pencil on the paper tag....
serial numbers [sign in to see URL].....

I'm thinking [sign in to see URL] it 62?

Sry.. papa usta say I wasnt the sharpest tool in the shed. 3 digit tags are HTF and is usually a sign of a 1st run. I dont know when the tower series was introduced I think it was 62.

Hi - I'm a newbie to this forum -

I have a Yorktown 28" x 10" marching bass drum with the "F" stamped in one re-ring - just to add to the data base.

Serial # is 10004

I'll have to read through the whole thread - but, did anyone determine the meaning of the "F"?
