Just bought my first set of Fullertons!

Hi y'all. I recently bought my first Fullerton era Rogers kit...I've owned a blue onyx pearl Holiday set for years.

The Fullerton is a four piece

...24x14, 13x9, 14x10, 18x16

...New England white finish

...U.S.A. on the badges

...serials numbers start with the letter D

...speckled gray interior

...5 ply with reinforcement ring

...good condition

I payed $350 for the four drums with some old fiberboard cases. Was this a good deal? I'm aware the Fullerton era drums aren't worth as much as Cleveland and Dayton era...and even the later XP8's. Thanks for reading...I'll post some pics of my kits soon!

If they are in decent shape, they're worth at least twice what you paid.

Pix?

Good, that's what I thought! I'll post some pics of them soon. I've gotta shine 'em up a bit first!

As you can see in the one pic, the wrap is coming apart ever so slightly at the seam, but overall, these drums seem to be in good shape. Even with the old heads, this girl sings! The Dynasonic is from my Holiday kit. I didn't set up the 14" rack yet either. I'm glad I jumped on these when I did!
