This is a great service you are offering here, Bruce. Thanks!
Here's a little info on my kit:
Rogers, Cleveland, Holiday, BDP, Beavertails, 20-12-14, COB Dyna. I know they were bought as a kit, all together. I'm thinking around 1964-65 (?)
Bass - 53615
Tom - 52625
Floor - 61006
Dyna - 17397

The 20/12/14 are from mid to late 1965 maybe early 1966. The Dynasonic though, is about a 1968.

Bruce

Interesting. I'm sure the kit was purchased all at once. Maybe they got them some time between those dates, like in '67.

Rogers Holiday, Red Wine Ripple 4 piece config. Telescopic cymbal mount, single tom mount.
6.5 Dynasonic, (destroyed) sr. 12938, Beavertail, elongated, 5 line Parts were used to restore a period dynasonic. I still have the Dyna Badge.
Im thinking 1964-early 65 on the drums.

14x20, Cleveland, 44911
8x12, Cleveland, 44893
16x16, Cleveland, 44955,

Rogers Holiday, Blue Glass Glitter, single tom mount, telescoping cymbal mount, Im thinking mid 66 on the drums. 20-12-16 are an original set. I added the most fortunate 14x14 floor tom for 300.00 in April. This floor tom was probably on the factory floor at the same time as the set I have.
8x12, 62873, Dayton
14x14, 62794, Dayton
16x16, 51629, Cleveland.

Sm Tom: 003903
Med Tom: 41864
Lg Tom: 4X072 (The "X" is in place of a digit that has been partially scratched off, but the top is rounded and clean at the front, so it is either a 2 or a 3)
Sm Floor Tom: 42680
Lg Floor Tom: 001065
Kick: 30540

It also has a snare that features no serial number, and I suspect may not even be a rogers snare. The labels that are readable all read "9/72" below the "Rogers" logo.

I apologize for not having the exact sizing, but I am not a drummer, and I haven't taken a tape measure to them to figure it out yet.

Please give all the info:
color of drums
model type off of badge ie: Holiday. Powertone, etc.
City ie: Dayton, Fullerton,
size of badge with or without borders if they are the small 9/72 paper tags ( those started late 1971)

All that is info is important in determining the year they were assembled.

Thanks,

Bruce

They are solid black - Powertones with the larger sized badge that has the border and Fullerton.

Rogers moved from Dayton, OH to Fullerton, CA in 1969, they used Dayton tags for a while then Fullerton tags in early 1970. Dayton tags went to about 110xxx, those were Holiday model drums.

Fullerton tags Powertone model started 01xxxx in early 1970.

Are your tags without the "0" in front a Fullerton, CA bottom right hand corner and the model name Powertone is in the upper middle.

Maybe they started with 6 digits because the dayton tags ended with six, then when they ordered new tags at maybe 50xxx, they dropped the "0" in front and went to 5 digits.

Please let me know if all the paper tags in your drums have Fullerton,CA in the bottom right hand corner and the model name Powertone in the upper middle..

Thanks,

Bruce

From the info I have your drums are late 1970, early 1971. Your Dynasonic is early 1971

The Wine Ripple bass and toms are 1964 serial numbers. The Dynasonic #12938 is late 1967, early 1968.

What color is the interiors of the Blue Glass Glitter set? Are the screw heads that hold the lugs on slotted or hex and are the washers star or split/lock type? This info is important for dating Cleveland/Dayton drums.

The 9/72 tag drums started in late 1972 and went until 1975 when the Big "R" badges started. Your drums are from that time.

Yes they do. Thinking back the drum shop I got the drums from was a big one and I can imagine they moved drums fairly quickly so I'm not surprised if I got the set in mid summer of '71 the drums were made the same year. Thanks for the info . . .
