Re: Cupped washers???
Man, this is some great stuff. I can't get enough of the history/mystery. It's fun being a Rogers archaeologist, eh Gary/Dan?
Gawd, I love this place!

Re: Cupped washers???
Hi Gary,
If those washers are spring steel I think they are a form of lock washer. I have actually found one on a Fullerton era Swiv-o-matic bass drum pedal. It locks the location of the pivot for the foot board. I have seen them on other machinery as well but never seen them available separately.
I guess if you look under the right rock you'll find them.

Re: Cupped washers???
Glenn, This stuff has to be out there. Thanks for the chime in. Just not the norm found. It took about 16yrs but the 2nd Special Model 6 lug metal snare drum #3126 surfaced last month out of a church in OH. Was cool to be able to compare the two...then pass one #3131 on to a friend. Good mo with all this era Rogers stuff.
RogersO, I am a single Rogers guy that hasn't found the other half of that 2pc kit. Straight male turning 35 this weekend and my favorite color is purple diamond. Leo.
Peace, Gary

Re: Cupped washers???
You found it in a church in Ohio? Gary, you must have a nose like a bovine that can smell truffles.
BTW, we'll put the word out here on the left coast that you're 35, single, a Leo and PDP is the color of your 427 Cobra.
LOL!

Re: Cupped washers???
Tom, Found on ebay, sold by a seller in OH that found it in the church storage room in OH. Maybe Jo T. gave it away many moons ago...
427 Cobra...lol! I have no chickens or cows so...how many Powertones is that dowry?
Peace, Gary
