I love the 18" bass drum.

David Garibaldi is one of my favorites, by far. Talk about a funky white boy. Tower of Power would not have made it without him, and they aren't the same without him today.

Garibaldi was in town with his Christian band. Stopped in to see what we were working on. Annoyed that we wouldn't build an impossible triple hi-hat idea of his.

I didn't know this. I saw them years ago at a casino in Lake Tahoe and he wasn't with them. I didn't know that he rejoined. I really believe that his chops are the centerpiece of the band.

The stand holding the toms Dave is playing in the R&D photo has what would have been the next generation mounting bracket. The stock version mates with a ratchet. This one had the hole drilled out for a 1" tube and a Memriloc clamp receiver welded on. I have a few of them and it's a real game changer in terms of what you can fly off of a single stand.

I need to sort through the piles and see how many I have. I've been using them for every different setup I've had over the years. I do have other stuff that ought to go on the block seeing as how I have a kid in college.

Hi John. Hope all is well. I hate to be a pain with questions, but I have another one if you don't mind answering it. When you built the 8 x 14 snare drums, did you use a special jig for that, like the one you explain in one of your posts? or did you put it on the machine that drilled the holes for the toms and bass drums?
thanks
Kevin
PS - if you have the jig for the snare beds and put that on the block, I would be interested.
