English Rogers 1961
Hello! Can someone please help me value and tell me more about this english rogers. Found the kit in garage for a couple of years ago, but doesn't it look pretty. Took me some time to restore it. I found it without a floor tom, and the guy i bought it from told that there never was one either. A cowbell and a wooden clogg that you put on the bass drum hoop came with the kit. The sizes are 20" 12" and the snare is a 14" Metall shell Brass Lacqure.
Cheers from Sweden.

Re: English Rogers 1961
Some of the early Rogers sets did not include a floor tom.
And the B&B (Bread & Butter) style lugs like on your snare Rogers were replaced with the Beavertail lugs you have on your tom and bass shells around 1964/65, so your drums are at least from that period. Can you post the serial number/city on the inside paper badge to help with a better date.
The snare is a mystery to me. I am not familiar with a brass shell with B&B lugs. Maybe the chrome was removed somehow?
Maybe check with mikedolbear.com as he is a much better expert of Rogers English drums.

Re: English Rogers 1961
English Rogers snare in natural brass is not unusual...
