Rogers snare wires
I have a set of Rogers Snare wires on a 1964 Powertone I recently bought. The only way I know the date is from the previous owner having bought it new in 1964. Though the badge supports this.
It has a set of Snare wires stamped Rogers on both ends, 20 strands.
Can anyone tell me anything about these? I use my Rogers drums on the road. I keep them as original as possible but I change wires every now and then.
If they have any value I would probably prefer to sell to someone who will be more gentle on them.

Re: Rogers snare wires
What kind of wires would you use instead? I would probably trade that much for them.

Re: Rogers snare wires
I've had pretty good luck with some of the Puresound range. I'm not brand loyal by any means but that thy seem to have done me well and I like the different options they have.
