My Cleveland Rehab Project
I picked these up recently and have been vigorously cleaning, polishing and assembling. They are a 12" Tower Tom, a 20" Tower Bass Drum, 14" and 16" Holiday Floor Toms along with the Canister that I have to buff and polish yet. I have a Powertone Chrome snare to go with it along with the Swivomatic Hi Hat and Pedal and some Swivomatic Supreme Cymbal stands. It sure sounds good and tuned up quite nicely other than the muffler pad is rattling a little bit on the 16" which should be an easy fix.
I used to do a lot of this type of rehab years back and now that I am retired it is a very entertaining hobby along with getting back into gigging a little bit again.

Re: My Cleveland Rehab Project
I noticed a small imperfection in the throne top. Better get rid of it. I've got room to take that old piece off your hands for shipping cost, right?
The rest looks very nice, so I guess you will want to keep those yourself. Great job.

Hoo boy. I could use that beat up, worn out, no-account good-for-nothing throne, too. I'll send you my address.
nopork, that is one fabulous drum set. The center lug drums kill me.

Yes I love the look of the center lugs, I used to have an old Ludwig Club Date that had them.
I just wish I had a 14" center lug "Tower" floor tom rather than the 14" and 16" Holidays that are with the kit. I only use one Floor Tom and like using 14" floors most of my life.
I doubt I will ever find a 14" Tower series as I assume they would be quite rare and sparse. If I did I would easily part with the 14 and 16 Holidays.

Re: My Cleveland Rehab Project
I scored an in the Bass Drum Cymbal arm today right here in Mpls. from a Premier, Sonor, ASBA collector. He had it laying in a pile of extra hardware. It works much better than the chrome tube one the original owner used for years, that wouldn't tighten up in the collett.
Going to use this setup for this weeks practice session with the band mates. I just love how these drums sound.

Re: My Cleveland Rehab Project
Love this! Although I can barely reach them, I love the look of two on the floor. It's the Buddy-Bonham lover in me. . Awesome kit nopork.
